A late Victorian gold and silver diamond brooch. The pave-set diamond fox, with ruby eyes, atop a wishbone. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 4.5cms. Total weight 6.9gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Probable replacement fittings, soft solder visible. Base metal pin. Possible replacement gems. Diamonds appear fairly bright. Diamond cuts include old single-cut, rose-cut and a diamond point. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Varied, moderate levels of inclusions, some surface reaching. Two diamonds chipped. Rubies are a pinkish red hue. Length of fox 2.6cms. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
