A late Victorian gold, diamond and split pearl hinged bangle. The star-set old-cut diamond and split pearl line, inset to the raised and tapered panel, with cannetille highlights. Estimated diamond weight 0.35ct, H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. French assay marks. Inner diameter 5.6cms. Weight 18.6gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Bangle with localised scratches to reverse.
Diamond is bright and lively.
Diamond with small scattered inclusions.
Split pearls are well matched, creamy white colour, with pinkish green overtones, in good condition.
Width 0.9cm.
