A late Victorian gold, reverse-carved and painted stickpin, depicting 1883 Grand National winner Zoedone, ridden by Count Charles Kinsky. Engraved to the reverse 'Grand National Liverpool 1883.' Diameter of stickpin head 1.5cms. 3.8gms.

Condition Report:
- Overall condition very good.
- Carving beleived to depcit the horse and jockey leaping Becher's Brook.
- Stickpin head electronically tests as approximately 18ct gold.
- Stickpin pin electronically tests as apprpoximately 15ct gold.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
- Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
