A late Victorian gold sapphire and diamond brooch. Designed as an alternating cushion-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond crescent. With report 77120-50, dated 17th October 2017, from GCS, stating basaltic, no heat, estimated total weight 4.80cts. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Diameter 3.4cms. Weight 7.2gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with slight variation in colour, moderate inclusions.
One smaller sapphire appears fairly noticeably darker.
