A late Victorian mahogany Post Office bracket clock calendar timepiece with eight day twin fusee movement, the silvered circular dial with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Barwise London', the architectural case with arched top above dentil cornice, fluted columns and pierced fret panels to sides, the inverted breakfront base fitted with roller activated day, date and month apertures, on a plinth base, the back with applied metal plaque, detailed 'PO 240', height 62cm, with pendulum and winding key (some faults). Provenance: formerly the bracket clock in Guildford Post Office.
