A late Victorian mahogany drop dial wall timepiece with eight day single fusee movement, the painted 12-inch circular dial with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'V.R Cunningham Camberley & York Town', the case with moulded circular surround above a bow apron with glazed lenticle and curved scroll mouldings, height 53cm, with pendulum. Note: V.R. Cunningham is a recorded clockmaker working in Camberley, Surrey, in the late 19th century.
