A late Victorian propelling pencil, the scrolled barrel engraved F. Sylvester and the push slide engraved Feb 19 1885 Age 55, with shield shaped hardstone terminal, 9cm long, in associated box; together with a further propelling pencil, the barrel with engine turned decoration with a foliate push slide, to a circular hardstone terminal carved with a cutlass, 9cm long
