A late Victorian silver and gold diamond horseshoe brooch. Designed as two graduated old-cut diamond crescent lines. May be worn as a pendant. Estimated total diamond weight 4 to 4.50cts, principal diamonds estimated H-I colour, VS2-SI2 clarity. Length 3cms. Weight 8gms.
Condition Report
Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Evidence of previous repair to fittings, localised discolouration.
Diamonds well matched and bright. One small diamond chipped. Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
