A late Victorian silver and gold diamond bow brooch. Designed as an old-cut diamond cluster knot, with vari-cut diamond three-loop and graduated terminal ribbon surround. May be worn as a pendant. Estimated total diamond weight 8.50 to 9.50cts. Principal diamond weight 1.77cts, estimated I-J colour, P1 clarity. Length 6.8cms. Total weight 23.5gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Brooch and pendant fittings detachable, thread holes present for further fittings that are currently deficient.

Principal diamond with eye visible, surface reaching inclusion.

Diamonds well matched.
Some smaller diamonds chipped.
Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
