A late Victorian silver and gold, diamond question mark brooch. The scrolling, graduated old-cut diamond line, suspending a similarly-set diamond tapered drop. Estimated total diamond weight 3cts. Length 4.7cms. Weight 5.2gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
Brooch fitting appears a later replacement.
Diamonds fairly well matched. Some diamonds draw slightly more colour than the others.
Most diamonds with eye visible inclusions.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
