A late Victorian silver and gold, sapphire and diamond brooch. The circular-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond floral cluster, with old-cut diamond foliate sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct. Length 4.4cms. Total weight 4.6gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Pin slightly bent. Diamonds well matched. One diamond chipped. Some diamonds with eye visible inclusions, some of which are surface reaching. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Sapphire is a medium to deep blue hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

Sapphire in good condition with minor surface scratches and a small nick to the girdle.
