A late Victorian silver pepper pot, together with a pair of 1930's silver pepper pots.

A late Victorian silver pepper pot, of plain baluster form and removable lid with diamond engraved and hole pierced panels, hallmarked Birmingham 1893, maker's mark worn, height to finial 5.25" (13.5cm). Together with a pair of 1930's silver pepper pots, bellied and octagonal-sided with simple drilled holes to the removable lids, hallmarked Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Sheffield 1932/33, height to finial 3.75" (9.5cm). Total weight 6.92 ozt (215.4 grams).

Condition Report:
- All three pieces displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.
- Victorian example with heavier wear and visible seam lines, also some minor dints.
- Blobs of solder visible to the underside around the foot rim, possible repairs?
- Lid with a couple of splits to inner rim.
- Lid fits fairly loosely.
- Hallmarks to main body heavily rubbed and maker's mark illegible.
- Pair of 1930's peppers appear in good overall condition.
- With some very heavy staining and tarnishing to the interiors around the top. And also to the inner rims of the lid.
- Lids are a good fit.
- Hallmarks mostly clear and legible, with rubbing to some punches.
- One numbered 3 to base and the other numbered 4.
