A late Victorian silver sugar bowl, of plain circular form with wavy rim and raised on three paw style feet, hallmarked Stokes & Ireland Ltd., Chester 1896. Together with a twin-handled example of similar form upon four paw style feet, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1902. Weight 5.62 ozt (174.8 grams). (2).
Condition Report:
- Both bowls are heavily tarnished and would benefit from a good clean and polish.
- There are surface scratches and marks to both bowls commensurate with age and general use.
- There are some residues of polish visible around the feet.
- Likely repair around the join of one of the feet on the twin-handled bowl.
