dating: Early 19th Century provenance: France, Curved, single-and one third-edged blade, with cylindrical back and large, central groove, engraved with trophies at the forte on a dotted ground, sun and moon at the base, traces of antique gilding. Small signs of use and some pitting at the tip. Brass hilt. Quillon with small langets carved with a flower, quillon block with floral engravings. Guard and parry-quillon both with fuller and engraved. Cap with pommel shaped as lion's head. Wooden, checkered grip. Iron scabbard with a small drag. Two, brass bands, adorned with lion's head in relief and both provided with a lug. I Empire era. length 98,3 cm.
