A long North-German or Dutch silver-inlaid flintlock pistol, circa 1660
Description: Slender round barrel with cannon muzzle, with two small ribs at top. Smooth bore in 12 mm calibre. Lock engraved with flowers and scrolling leaves. Iron belt hook bolted to the sideplate. Walnut full stock with finely engraved silver inlays. Chiselled iron furniture. Original wooden ramrod with iron tip. Length 60 cm. Well preserved, extremely elaborately crafted weapon. The silver inlays are probably a Historicist addition of later date.
