A lot of 6 bronze and iron fibulae

A lot of 6 bronze and iron fibulae. Lot includes a Romano-British brooch in the form of a hare, c. 2nd Century AD, the surfaces nicely silvered. L: 24mm; a pair of bronze Italic types, c. 8th - 5th Century BC (Hattatt (1987), no. 198-9). L: 2 7/8 in (7.3 cm) and 2 3/8 in (6 cm); an Roman iron Aucissa type from the 1st Century AD. L: 2 1/4 in (5.7 cm); and a pair of Roman Kraftig profilierte types from the 1st Century AD. L: 3 3/8 in (8.6 cm) and 2 5/8 in (6.7 cm). Some without pins but a nice mixed group. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
