Lot includes 5 Egyptian amulets and scarabs from the Late - Ptolemaic Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, an amulet of double ostrich plumes in a green speckled stone, 23 x 14 mm, and a Wedjat of ‘Eye of Horus’ amulet in a black sandstone or steatite, 28 x 24 mm, a stamp seal with a reeded handle, 27x16 mm, an amulet of Pataikos with a winged goddess at back and the head of Harpokrates incuse on base, H: 10 mm, a black steatite button scarab, 18 x 14 mm, a scaraboid-shaped bead, 15 x 11 mm, and last a Near Eastern light blue faience cylinder bead/seal, c. 1st Millennium BC, with two rows of incised angled lines, L: 22mm. Ex collection of Peter Cheremisinoff, NJ.
