A lovely Roman bronze figure of a seated putti, 1st - 2nd Century AD, the cherubic youth depicted nude with rounded features, his hair knotted at forehead and flow in curled locks. His gaze is slightly to his left and his arms are extended, as if reaching out towards something. Just a splendid piece with excellent style and attractive patination. H: 2 1/5 in (5.5cm). Ex estate Dr. Dr. Adrian Zorgniotti (1925-1994).
