A lovely pair of Egyptian faience beaded necklaces

A lovely pair of Egyptian faience beaded necklaces, Late period, c. 664 - 30 BC, comprised of disk-shaped and tube-shaped beads, all in a deep shade of blue. Both are restrung on modern cord and are nice necklaces in their own right or strands of beads for a new creation. L: 35 in (88.8 cm) & 25 in (38.1 cm). Ex estate of Maria (Lila) Decatur Mayo Deyo Garnett, niece of Ruth Deyo; Ex collection of Ruth Deyo, acquired early-mid 1900's. Mrs. Deyo was a world-renowned musician and personality, well-known for her appreciation of Egyptian culture.
