A matched Edwardian cased set of twelve silver and ivory handled fish knives and forks.

A matched Edwardian set of silver and ivory handled fish knives and forks for twelve place settings, each knife blade engraved with floral and scroll motifs, contained within a fitted wooden case with inset vacant brass cartouche to the lid. Hallmarked Frederick C Asman & Co., Sheffield 1905, two dated 1908. Length of knife measuring 7 7/8 inches (20.2 cm). In overall fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. One fork is missing its ferrule so the join is visible. Some of the tines are slightly bent or worn. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible, two dated 1908, four ferrules with different dates including 1922, 1908 and possibly 1929?. There are some heavy scratches to the top of the wooden case, it is lockable but no key present, some losses to the material lined base. This lot may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
