dating: Period (1603-1867) provenance: Japan, Iron structure, externally covered with rust-color brown lacquer (some crack and part missing). Carved to effigy a face with proud expression of anger, with wrinkles made with fullers, removable nose, open mouth complete with teeth and red lips. Big mustaches in horsehair. Provided with 'L'-shaped Ori-kugi for lacing. Chin with a hole for sweat. Red lacquer inside. Three-plated yodare-kake. height total 24 cm.
