A mid-19th century French mother of pearl gaming counter case, circa 1850 Formed as a lyre, swivel opening, containing four counters each with one of the suits. Together with a George III mother of pearl white metal mounted toothpick box, engraved with initials TB in cursive script, flanked by foliage and a William IV sterling silver and mother of pearl folding fruit knife, Sheffield 1831 by John Nowill, engraved with initials GAL, houses in a gilt tooled Moroccan leather case.
