A mid-19th century Russian silver 'berry' spoon, in Fiddle pattern with foliate engraved motifs to stem, the bowl with wavy edge and embossed fruit decoration. Assay marks for 84 standard, Moscow 1861, and a further cyrillic maker's mark. Length 8.75 (22.5cm), weight 2.14 ozt (66.5 grams). Dimensions: Condition Report: Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general expected surface wear, marks and scratches. Traces of gilding to bowl. Some surface rubbing to decoration with slight loss of detail.Assay marks located to reverse of terminal, a little rubbed but legible. Assay Master mark is similar to that of Ivan Avdyeyev (or Avdeyev) (Moscow 1852-1862). And cyrillic maker's mark similar to that of Janaty Sazikov.
