A mid 20th century 14ct gold and platinum aquamarine and diamond brooch. Aquamarine calculated weight 20.34cts, based on estimated dimensions of 19.3 by 15.2 by 8.5mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, H-I colour, VS-P1 clarity. Length 4cms. 18.9gms.

- Overall condition good.
- Some patches of slight discolouration to the reverse.
- Diamonds bright and well matched.
- Aquamarine is a medium slightly bluish green hue, well saturated, with good clarity and some typical rain inclusions predominantly located to one corner.
- Aquamarine in good condition.
- Width 3cms.
- Metals electronically test as approximately 14ct gold and platinum.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
