A mid-20th century Danish silver serving spoon, the large oval bowl leading to a plain flat stem with flower and leaf pierced terminal. Struck to reverse with the Three Towers national mark for 1948, alongside the Assay Master mark for Johannes Siggaard (1932-1960), and a further unidentified mark. Length 9.5" (24cm), weight 3.8 ozt (118.2 grams).
Condition Report:
- Appears in fairly good overall condition.
- Displaying some surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing in keeping with the age and general use.
- Some heavier wear and minor nicks around the edges of the stem and bowl, most noticeable to one side of the stem.
- Surface wear and rubbing to the decoration on the finial, causing slight loss of detial to some areas.
- Assay marks with residues of polish but still clear and legible.
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
