More Information

Overall good condition for age, general wear and tear commensurate with age and some light use. The beginnings of some light tarnishing evident in a few small areas. No dents however there is evidence of a small area of filing on one angle near the hinge.
Central amethyst oval cabochon measures approx. 14mm x 10mm (depth not possible), two round cabochons approx. 7mm diameter.
The two peridot cabochons approx. 8mm diameter.
This item has been XRF spot tested as approximately 90% silver. We used a Nitron Thermo XL3T handheld XRF analyser to test the metal in this lot. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. Results should only be used as a guide and with caution. False readings are possible as only a small 'spot' has been tested and not the whole item.
Note: We do not guarantee the standard of gold, silver, or platinum unless an item is hallmarked and no returns are accepted for XRF tested items, please examine any items for yourself and make your own mind up. Many thanks for your understanding John Rolfe Auctions.
