A mid-20th century silver four piece tea set of ovoid tapering shape with panel sides comprising tea pot, hot water jug, sugar bowl and milk jug, Wooden handles to the two principal pieces. Makers' initials FHA & H. Birmingham 1937 and 1940. Weight 47.9 ozt (1491 grams).
Condition Report:
- Displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
- All pieces with some further dints and nicks.
- Interior of teapot has been cleaned with an abrasive pad which has scratched interior.
- Finial to teapot is at fault.
- Hot water pot has evidence of a dent which has been removed.
- Hallmarks and maker's marks rubbed and worn.
