A mid 20th century geometric compact case, with sapphire line highlight and grip, by Van Cleef & Arpels.Length 8.6cms. With maker's sleeve.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good.
Signed VCA, 38874.
With hinged lid compartment and lipstick holder.
Mirror to inside of case with significant discolouration to one corner and smaller areas of discolouration to the edges.
General light wear, marks and discolouration.
Personal engraving 'M.B.B.' to inside.
Sapphires are a medium blue to slightly violetish blue hue, fairly to well saturated, with good clarity.
Sapphires in good condition with minor abrasions.

Stamped 'Metal'. Weight 126.7gms.
Width 5.2cms.
