A mid 20th century opal and diamond brooch. The cushion-shape opal cabochon, with alternating textured, brilliant and single-cut diamond scrolling ribbon surround. One diamond deficient. Maker's monogram JR. Estimated dimensions of opal 24 by 20 by 7.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 2.50 to 3cts. Length 6.4cms. Weight 31.3gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
