A mid 20th century platinum diamond dress ring. The brilliant-cut diamond, with similarly-cut diamond tapered cylindrical sides. Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts, principal diamond estimated I-J colour, P1-P2 clarity. Ring size N. Weight 9.6gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Band shows evidence of resize, slightly out of shape.
Principal diamond with central, eye visible, surface reaching inclusion.
Diamonds well matched.
Estimated total non-principal diamond weight 0.80ct.
Individual size and setting of non-principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
