A mid to late 18th century English enamel ‘toy watch’ bonbonniere, Staffordshire circa 1760
Modelled as a watch with hinged gilt metal mounts, the watch face with Roman numerals, glazed. The reverse with painted puce camaieu scene of a lady with a basket listening to music played by a man with a trumpet, with a dog in the four ground, reserved in raised white C scrolls against a dark blue ground.
