A mid to late 18th century shagreen cased scent casket, probably French circa 1760-80
The trapezoid case with moulded loop carrying handle and lock escutcheon, opening to reveal a fitted interior with four clear glass scent bottles of fluted cylindrical form with white metal mounts each with stoppers with chain attachments. Also containing two smaller scent bottles, a white metal scent funnel, a diminutive beaker and a small scalloped circular dish. Key present.
