A mid-twentieth century five piece silver condiment set, including a pair of open salts with blue glass liners, a pair of casters and a mustard pot with blue glass liner, each of circular form with gadrooned rims, the casters and mustard pot with knopped finials. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Sheffield 1954. Height of caster measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), gross weight 10.9 ozt (340.9 grams). In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor chip to one of the blue glass liners. Couple of minor bumps to the bodies. Remnants of polish visible in between the decoration, all pieces would benefit from a clean. Hallmarks clear and legible, partial hallmarks to various sections, further marked 'Mappin & Webb Ltd London & Sheffield' and 'Mappin's Canada'.
