A military matchlock musket, Suhl, circa 1620 Two-stage barrel, octagonal then round, with smooth bore in 20 mm calibre. Dovetailed sights, at the breech struck with inscription "SVL", Suhl hen mark and barrel maker’s mark "HC" with fleur-de-lys. Lateral rectangular pan with hinged cover and flash guard. Matchlock, the rectangular lock plate with indistinct eagle mark. Cock with stamped decoration and locking screw, attached piece of the original match. Stock of blackened beech wood with simple, iron furniture. On the right side of the butt circular mark consisting of eight points, the upper butt tip slightly damaged. Original wooden ramrod with iron tip. Length 141 cm.Condition: II
