A model 1938 dagger for naval officers with portepee and hanger, maker Eickhorn, SolingenNickel-plated blade (slightly stained) with an etched, fouled anchor amid tendrils on both sides as well as a maker's mark on the ricasso. Crossguard and pommel with partly preserved gilding. White plastic grip with wire winding. Push-button scabbard release. The gilt scabbard decorated with "thunder-bolt" pattern. Length 42 cm. Silver portepee. The hanger of black ribbed silk with black velvet lining and gold-plated aluminium fittings.Condition: II
