A half size model of an A E & H Robinson & Co of Manchester 'X' type hot tube stationary engine No 187. Built by the late Mr Duncan Laidlaw of Bristol. The engine of open crank design with single cylinder 1 1/2" bore by 1 1/2" stroke, 8 1/2" flywheel, oiler and exhaust. Engine length 28cm. Width 15cm. Height 23cm. The model set on a wooden plinth with moulded edge.Condition Report: There is no compression, the wheel is too easy to spin.
