A nice Byzantine bronze reliquary cross
A nice Byzantine bronze reliquary cross, c. 9th - 11th Century AD, half of a two part piece depicting the incised image of Christ with arms outstretched, crosses to sides and Greek inscription at top. 2 1/2 x 1 5/8 in(6.3 x 4.1 cm). Nicely preserved and patinated. Ex Epshtein collection, Berkeley, CA.
