A nice Chinese bronze socketed adze, Shang-Zhou, c. 1100 - 800 BC, with flattened sides with casting flange and widely flared rounded cutting edge. 2 1/4 x 3 in (5.7 x 7.6 cm). Nice green-brown patina. Ex Boston private collection.
