A nice Corinthian plemochoe
A nice Corinthian plemochoe, mid-6th Century BC, of typical round shape with ring foot and single loop handle flanked by protrusions. A scarcer pottery shape, nicely decorated with narrow concentric lines and a wide zigzag band in orange-brown slip, L: 6 5/8 in (16.9.5cm). Light deposits. Ex Maryland private estate.
