A nice Egyptian steatite scarab, Late New Kingdom
A nice Egyptian steatite scarab, Late New Kingdom, c. 1296 - 1075 BC, the body and legs nicely carved. On base a blessing from Amen-Re with a lovely blossom beneath. 16 x 11.5 mm. Holed lengthwise for suspension. Ex collection of Gustave Mustaki formed in the mid-20th Century.
