A nice Etruscan/Umbrian archaic bronze votive figure, c. 500 - 380 BC, this example in the form of a warrior striding forward and wearing helmet. The face is detailed with short arms, circles incised on chest and long slender legs. H: 4 3/4 in (12.1 cm). Nice green patina and with lucite base. Ex Toronto private collection acquired by descent and believed to have originally been purchased from Mario Cicconetti, Ancient and Tribal Art in 1986.
