A nice Roman bronze cylindrical mace head, 3rd - 1st Century BC, with 6 series of three projections in equally spaced rows, the shaft hole with rounded edge on one side. 1 1/8 x 2 in (2.8 x 5.1 cm). Nicely patinated. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
