A nice Roman silver knee brooch w/ floral devices
A nice Roman silver knee brooch, c. 2nd - 3rd Century AD, the body comprised of two L-Shaped bars arranged perpendicular to the bar at front, which itself is decorated with two extending floral devices. L: 3.5 cm. An attractive type with pleasing grey tone. The bar is bent and missing catch, but original pin in place. Ex Peter Cheremisinoff collection, NJ.
