A painted wood no mask of Namanari type. Edo period
Mask of a female demon with a longish face with a two-toned complexion and two short golden horns, the open mouth with two rows of golden teeth including four fangs and a visible tongue. The reverse painted brown and dark red. The eye pupils lined with metal. To the reverse an inscription reading “Namanari Deme Juman saku“. Some flaking of the pigments.
