A pair of Aubusson style woven wall hangings, 19th century, rectangular, each with musical trophies and floral bouquets, within a tassel-hung cartouche; both with cotton backing, with wooden batons stitched into the upper and lower edges, 280cm high, 112cm wide

Condition Report:
The tapestries bear the usual very minor marks and nicks overall consistent with age and use. The colours are slightly faded overall, consistent with age, though some of the darker pinks are quite well preserved. One of the tapestries has two small restored tears to the top edge (circa 2-3cm each) and an area of tearing to the top right corner. The other has a vertical area of circa 10cm to the rear where the backing has detached, which could presumably be easily addressed. The lot would benefit from a gentle clean, paticularly to remove stray threads and fluff.
