A pair of Bloor Derby ice pails and covers, early to mid 19th century, the deep lids with acorn finial supported by lotus leaves, the pails with angular handles, decorated with a wide band of apple green above a band of flowers and butterflies on a white ground, each with liner, on circular bases, maker's mark and titles of flowers in red to undersides, 28cm high, 26cm high
