A pair of Capodimonte or Buen Retiro candlesticks, circa 1750-60
Modelled by Giuseppe Gricci, each with the shaft made up of a crouching putto holding a cornucopia which turns into the sconce applied with vine leaves and grapes and decorated in gilding, on rockwork bases applied with vine branches, leaves and grapes, 22cm high fleur-de-lys marks in blue (restoration to bases)
