A pair of Chinese export condiments.

A pair of Chinese export condiments, of tapered hexagonal form, with embossed foliate decoration, Chinese characters and figures alternating on each panel, to a perforated lid, with pointed finial. Each height 3.25" (8.25cm), total weight 1.72 ozt (53.5 grams).

Condition Report:
- Displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
- One condiment top slightly dented / impressed resulting in lid not sitting flush.
- Both items tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish.
- Each condiment tests between 92% - 96% Ag.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
- Fellows does not guarantee the standard of silver unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
