A pair of Chinese 'nine symbols' silk badges made for Yuan Shih-k'ai, Republican Period, circa 1912-1916, 20cm diameter (2)Yuan Shih-K'ai, served as President of the Chinese Republic from 1912-16, maintaining the traditional seasonal sacrifices with himself playing the part of former Emperors.
