A pair of Colima standing women West Mexico, c. 100 BC - AD 200, the larger nicely modeled wearing a brimmed hat, ear spools and arm bands, a band of raised cicatrices run across the top of her body from shoulder to shoulder. H: 5 3/4 in (14.6 cm). The second wearing a hat and skirt with a tassel at each hip; her hand at the back of her head. H: 4 3/8 in (11 cm). Both well-preserved examples with light mineral deposits. Ex Southern California private collection acquired in 1970's & 1980's.
